Bunch of great advice here. You should get these 1k+ items, guy with 200p. The weapon you want right now and can afford is a Crystalline Spider Fang. 10 22. It's my favorite low end rogue weapon and I don't think anything higher than 10 dmg is needed before epic. Nice to have, but 10 will get you to 45.

The subject is, "what items should I be saving for?" Also, his current weapon is 11 dmg.
