Bump, so many bugs with custom helmets. Just look at the poor Erudites for example.. Not only the clipping issues but the female Erudite visor should be transparent (see right). It is nearly 100% opaque on P99 (left).

Regarding Erudite custom helms, the helm still have the bug where the cloth shows underneath the plate part of the helm (the cloth should be gone), but the female helm HAS been fixed so that you can see the face, if you use the EQClassic HD textures. Here's my female erudite with custom helm, along with a more distant shot, and an image with 1h + shield of the stalwart seas. Lastly, if you want that deep blue "lambent bard with erudite mask" look, try the righteous armor from hate. I only have the legs, boots, arms and wrist so far, but you can probably work fine steel into that to get some kind of comic book superhero look:
