I want to play a new MMO so badly, I've never been on the hype train before about any other MMO in recent years, but I am hitching my wagon to this. God help me that I'm not sorely dissapointed ><

If they want to do it the right way they won't rush the release meaning, this won't come out till 2020 at least.

Id predict a Christmas 2019 release. It's looking like the last pre-alpha testing phases will end around Christmas this year (just speculation based on current test cycles) and will open up for alpha testing at that time. But you may be right. It might be a bit later but I wouldn't expect it to push much past May 2020.

Based on my conversations with a few VR guys, it sounds like it's gonna be a few years. They were at PAX East so I'm sure fans there may have learned more and posted their findings somewhere on the interwebs.
