How would you get a fresh DE to Faydwer without ports/other people?

Is it a requirement you can't get a port? I know I've ported many a newbie for free from EC.

As a DE, you will want to not kill orcs in Gfay/CB though, if you care about Neriak factions. So watch out for that.

Boats on P99 are seriously the worst. Every time I need to go to TD or OOT for something I cringe. Just take a port from WC and be done with the nonsense. There are a TON of porters available on P99 at basically all times.

Also I think it would be great if when you jump off the islands in Sky it dropped you in a random space of ocean in Ocean of Tears instead of FP

Only DE warriors need to worry about killing cb orcs btw. It's the warrior guild faction - Indigo Brotherhood iirc.

Easy to do, I did it all the time with my DE SK. Use tunnels in FP to get to the dock, wait until patrol guard is standing away and you can get to the dock edge without a problem.
In BB, jump off the boat and swim around the big retaining wall on the right, just avoid dwarf posts until you can get to Gnome town and bind.
To get back, just do the reverse, swim around the wall in BB, and run up to the dock avoiding the patrol. Use tunnels in FP to get back out to EC.

Getting an iksar from cabbilis to ec tunnel without porting is possible without getting agro and using only the boats too. The devs put some thought into the kos factor affecting travel for sure.
