Cryptocurrencies is a vehicle to hold buying power. Stocks is a vehicle to own a portion of a business that provides a good or service. The buying power is used to purchase these goods and services. They are not a substitute. There is no transition from "stocks to blocks." Also, no one with any investment sense is saying stocks are going up because cryptocurrencies are going down.

You have metals like gold and the market going up which is weird. No reason not to diversify your portfolio and try to hit a couple of doubles or homeruns on crypto. Just hold.
