Since I don't know what caused the original thread to get taken down I'm a little afraid to "poke the bear", but you make a good point.

To recap, this whole thing started with people posting their favorite toys. Since all of those people were male, I've partnered some of those toys with popular female ones:

Now, obviously we're not in the 50's anymore, and there are toys like light bright, blocks, and Legos which are less gendered ... although not completely (light bright is generally marketed towards girls, regular legos are still mostly marketed at boys, although there are now separate "girl's legos", etc.) I left those out not to hide that they exist, but because the ones I included are easier to compare.

Which brings us to the next step:

1. What things do you see in common between the boys' toys here (and any other popular ones you know of)
2. What things do you see in common between the girls' toys here (and any other popular ones you know of)
