Vintage toys you had as a kid

Me and my brother grew up with a bunch of these and we made some awesome things. We would link them across the room and build bridges and stuff and crazy aliens.

We didn't have legos but another form called 'Construx' which I found superior. We'd build all kinds of things out of them and have Construx wars where we'd smash them together. Pieces would break all the time and we'd giggle our heads off at the carnage.

Also had He-Man and Turtle figures, we'd love placing them under the couch coushins to try and hold them up by the strength of the figures alone. Sometimes their legs would give into weird splits and stuff. We'd try and weigh the coushins down with stuff to see when they'd collapse.

Ahh.... good times.

My favorite toys of all time though, probably would have to be my G.I. Joes. I played with these for many years in my childhood!

I had a love for ninjas, ever since seeing the movie "Revenge of the Ninja" with Sho Kosugi btw, so when G.I. Joes came out, instantly I fell in love with the Cobra troopers and my all-time favorite character SNAKE EYES!

And this figurine really holds a special place in my heart, it was called "Saboteur" and I had no idea what this word meant until my dad explained the meaning behind it while we ate at the fastfood restaurant Rax where I was opening this toy up. To be fair, plenty of examples where females are the hunters in the animal kingdom. Just think of lions.

I'm more concerned with how media portrays women, way too much emphasis on being skinny and how to dress like a tramp. My niece is growing to the age where she is noticing these things and is a bit heart breaking.

My little cousin is also wearing make up now and low cut tops. She cakes it on too, shocked her parents let her go out like that honestly.

It's like everyone wants to see someone be sexy, but not their daughters or loved ones.

Just wait till these girls start thinking they aren't perfect looking enough, and start wanting to alter their appearances via surgical procedures.

I know a girl who is 25 who looks really nice. She thinks her butt is too flat and she wants to get implants in her ASS. She also "ducklips" in all her selfies, it's the most retarded shit I ever seen. She has gotten lip injections too btw.

I am not fond of what our social standards have become regarding how we should look, that's all I am saying. Also, who is creating these standards anyway? lol.

I had this - you've answered one of my oldest questions as to what the mysterious wheeled green thing was. Apparently the two pieces (pizza shooter and base) could be separated and mine had been separated for so long I no longer remembered they went together.

I remember I used to shoot it at the return a/c duct trying to get the pizzas to fly inside. Then I had to convince my dad to remove the cover in the basement so I could get my ammo back.
