I still never care giving C/C2/Haste and I never will. I load C, C2, and high level and low level haste, when I go into EC or OT ramp, etc, just to buff players as they want. Not to rag on Rohk, I know him and he seems like a cool dude, but just saying I don't mind, but if I did, I would rather /anon flag or just /afk flag. Better than replying like this, IMO.

Rohk was stupid for taking it upon himself to explain why he wasn't giving free buffs when the topic was already finished with the "gibs me C -- no -- okay thanks anyway" chain. It was like he became an excited kid to trip over his ego to charge into school teacher mode to give someone a life lesson.

OP wants to shame him which I guess is fine except this isn't something nearly as cool as a ninja loot, game exploit police work, or even a malicious train killing and camp theft for bringing it to the forum. It's just petty. It's just a -- "Hey guys! I found someone with questionable social skills that I just now interacted with!"

I remember people actually getting mad at me for trying to inspect them without asking. Like Asperger-thumb-in-the-ass mad. On Fennin Ro at least it was very much custom to ask someone if it was OK to inspect, and many times they would say 'no'. Asking for buffs was at best a 50/50 proposition that most times ended in some variation of "get fuk'd"

First off I have a 60 druid so I know the pain of being asked to port and buff constantly but someone sends you a tell for clarity which is a spell I'm sure you keep memmed and its literally 1 button to target person who sent you a tell and 1 button to cast said spell. 2 clicks and your done and it took way more keystrokes to type out that diatribe.

If you don't feel like buffing people in the tunnel just don't respond. Most will just assume you're afk anyways.

Telling someone "respect me" if you want a buff is asshattery though. Its a fucking video game, get a life. You aren't actually a powerful enchanter or shaman. You're a fool with an identity complex if you actually get offended by some peasant not giving you the hat honor you think you deserve.

But w/e, as many have said it is his game he can do that if he wants. I will never ask him for a buff again.

If he ever needs help, I will help him though. I don't hold grudges. I always think if you try to be helpful or kind even to curmudgeons like this fellow it could change how they interact with the next person.
