Just to stand up for Xrend. I have a 55 enchanter and could very well see myself in this scenario. My 1HB is not maxed (haha) nor do I think it would do any good. It's common to not have any direct damage spells up, even if you were trying to dig though your spell book to find the correct level spell, nuking down 10+ mobs would be difficult. It would most likely be 20 casts with a low level nuke. Not too high level nuke or you would OOM. Refreshes on enchanter nukes are slow etc. I know I'm not the best enchanter on the server, but I could see myself being at a loss, mezing the mobs, and expecting the other person to gate/run.

Pet could do it but that's hindsight.

Nope. You can sit and swap spells in 0.33 seconds. You can even do it between melee hits if something is beating on you. Shameful for an enchanter to be overwhelmed by level 15 frogs.

Gee I wonder why? You know what would have happened if not for all the other mobs being there? I'd have charmed him and killed him and the other guy across the way. And then sat happily medding. But yeah it's totally my fault for getting hit by a respawn when a dude trained me. Ok, we'll go with that.

Don't attack Mead I have seen him partially naked. He also is a man of few words but generally they are wise words.

I am surprised he has decided to take that other side of the field, but we can't all agree on everything, right?
