Burnished Wooden Staves

My personal memory: we would get 6+ of these on just a quick jaunt down to royals on live.

Corroboration: http://everquest.allakhazam.com/db/item.html?item=521 noted as dropping commonly off of sarnaks in chardok.

Here: Around 25 hours exping in chardok on live99, from zone in down to korocust / bridge, as well as on the beta99 server before launch clearing out graveyard and royals prep areas - I have seen 1 drop.

This seems extremely rare compared to actual live EQ.

i agree, i read the same source ... and have the same memory, they were quite common ... so far i have seen 2 drop exping from 53 to 57 in chardok ..

FYI we got 1 burnished wooden stave in 5-6 hours in chardok today, but the other staves (shielding, enchanter one) rained from the skies.

We saw at least 4 drop in a simple Koro/XP group last night lasting a few hours.

Looks like Staves are now raining from the sky and the enc/clr/mag/monk staves are much rarer as consquence. Probably how it should be.

But yeah, the VP pieces are definitely dropping much more often.
