Friends List issues

ok so i'm having this problem that, half of the time, when i log in, my friends list is generaly un-detected. what i mean by that is: half the time i log in my friends list is not saved. IE: i have 51 friends, but only 4 show up when i /friends, any idea on how to correct this issue>?

Are you playing on 2 different computers by chance? Friends list is saved to the harddrive. Or maybe are you launching EQ from 2 different directories on the same computer? Just some random thoughts.

friends list only shows people that are online, and are saved per character / per computer ...

Also, i believe when adding entries if you do /exit or /quit it will not save the changes (at least it doesnt save UI changes) you have to properly camp out.

all great info, but none if it really applies, except for the one with starting with diff directeroies. i believe you may be correct, i think its because i usualy "run as administrator" i'm goig to try that and verify
