Hi Newfangle9,

Run the files through VirusTotal (https://www.virustotal.com/#/home/upload). VirusTotal scans the file using a bunch of different AntiVirus engines (for free) and gives you the results of all of the engines.

There'll be a "Community" tab on the results page; if the file's been analyzed before, this may have details on it and comments by people on whether or not the file is safe. If not, post the SHA-256 hash(es) here (it'll be listed at the top of the results page) and either some other knowledgeable individual or I can take a look at it and let you know if it seems suspicious.

Cheers!

EDIT: I just re-read your post and saw you say that the download failed.

If you're talking about the Titanium copy: If you can submit the file via URL, do so. Otherwise, look in the file description for an MD5/SHA hash; if it has one, you can use that to look up the file information on VirusTotal. As loramin said below, if your anti-virus is triggering on the file, it's best not to disable it to download the file; the ONLY exception I would make to this to this is if you have malware analysis training as a computer security professional.

If you're talking about the V45 patch, see Tupakk's response below.
