So I'm pretty well done with the nerdrage, as I indicated last night.

But a calm has come over me and I'd like to elucidate one more argument that I think will illustrate better why I feel so fucked over here. This will also be a little tidbit for you people clamoring for logs...

So at this point, Lodizal is entirely debuffed and ready to be tanked.
ENC has run over to her spot for grabbing Grizlin and sees he's not up yet, but there are people hanging around his tent. (I think Xeker was Cashme's pet)
Grizlin has spawned sometime in the last 3 seconds
ENC still does not know what the people in Grizlin's tent plan to do. She told me afterwards that she thought they probably planned to pre-emptively charm it. She can't see melee animations from this distance, and any movement in the HP bar was not noticeable and/or she wasn't even looking at it. Why would she?
ENC had begun to cast Mesmerize, as that is typically how she gains control of a mob that she is planning to [re]charm. NOW she sees that people are trying to kill her intended pet, so she ducks.
Grizlin has taken visible damage now, but she has no reason to believe that they beat her to the punch, so she continues with her plan.
ENC alerts me by voice that someone was fucking with Grizlin while she was trying to charm it.
This is the first moment that ENC realizes what they were doing. She could not see that they started meleeing it until after tash landed and Grizlin closed some of the distance between them. It's only NOW that she realizes she did not have "FTE" on Grizlin (as crazy as it sounds to even need that)
Amazingly, 6 minutes after Tash landed, Sirken is in tells with her

The important thing to know here is that the ENC had no way of knowing who had "FTE" on Grizlin, since he obviously has no FTE shout (Why in the HELL would he need one?) It was only after the mob was already charmed that it began to dawn on her what the BG members' plan was - to tag Grizlin with melee and then petition her charm as a KS.

What are we supposed to do at that point?? Well, maybe if the Blood Guard members in attendance had only waited a few minutes, they could have explained TO US that they made a legal decision to cockblock Grizlin with a melee tag and they would petition us if we did not share loot.

And maybe..... juuuuust maybe... we would have.

But then again maybe not... I think I'd sooner destroy the loot myself and eat a suspension than negotiate with terrorists.
