Another thing to note, the media is reporting the shooter's net worth at around 2.5 million, however the brother describes him as getting thousands of dollars of sushi comped, sending out 100k to tangential family like it's nothing, bossing people around with sandwiches, buying people homes, paying off his brother's retirement, gambling 10k hands daily etc. He keeps emphasizing how ultra wealthy his brother is.

2.5 mil on the west coast buys a 4 bedroom family house with an OK view in an OK neighborhood. At a 2.5 mil net worth on the west coast, i wouldn't even really consider someone to be a real estate investor without more money in the market, more like a hobbyist. i don't see anyone below the $50-100 mil bracket living that kind of lifestyle longer than a year, yet we're expected to believe he maintained it for decades.

another fishy thing is how the brother keeps emphasizing how his brother acted alone when he supposedly had nothing to do with anything. it's incredibly unusual behavior for someone grieving to be harping on intricacies of the case and acting like he has insider info. he also shows a strong understanding of how bump stocks work early on in the interview and later goes on to play dumb like he doesn't know what one of those "bumper stocker doo hickeys is"

gambling was a front to explain the money to his family, he's into some shady shit. casinos are a good way to clean dirty money.
