I'm new here :)
Hello! I used to play EQ religiously when I started (during PoP) and played for about 10 years until I just got tired of the direction the free servers we're going and quit. I just recently discovered P99 and started an Iksar Necro (my favorite class). [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.]
I just hit level 8 last night. Are there any new player guilds that are accepting new players? I may not sign in EVERY day since this is not my primary MMO (playing Black Desert) but I do play. Also, I wasn't around in the Velious era. What gear should I be looking to acquire? Hope I get to see some of you soon. I already run into a lot of people at FoB. :P -Ickra (Level 8 Iksar Necro) | ||

Welcome back to Norrath!
Check out the wiki for any and all questions that might come up. Here on the necro page: http://wiki.project1999.com/Necromancer You'll find some recommended gear near the bottom of the page. It's just a starting place. Spend some time in EC and you'll start getting a feel for good equip. FoB is blessed with a ton of spiders, so to start with I'd suggest just grabbing a sewing kit and making yourself a suit of raw silk armor. And thank you mgriff! I didn't know about the wiki. That's really helpful. I've using ZAM, but it's really laggy and it's hard to follow because so many things have been changed. Gozuk, thank you! I'm really liking it so far. I was a little bummed about 1 or 2 things, but they're minor. I like the newer style of skeleton pet over the old. The illusion I get from lich too. Personal preference. :P And my favorite zone ever was Veksar. That came out just after Ykesha though, so I understand why it's not in. Still makes me sad. [You must be logged in to view images.
