i recognize a lot of sickos in there. Some blue voters trolling, but there are legit dead serious red no votes there, legit votes meaning people who actively play red as we speak pissing their 30's away on a ghost town.

Its cool to see how desperate people are as if they needed to scramble out and vote fast to save their 23 man server. Some of those voters are good people, just very misguided.

Rogean would never delegitimize this project by doing anything to red.

Also, people voted to shut down a 3 month old blue server on live and replace it with a server where you start at level 51 with 50 AAs (Mayong).

Guess what happened to Mayong? It doesn't exist anymore.

The moral of the story: As a developer, don't listen to fickle players.

A fresh blue server wouldn't be any different to this blue server. Twinks within a few weeks, sure there's a fresh economy, but you'll have holgresh elder bead style queues for guises/manastones, day 1 fat cats looking to corner the market on items before they've dropped and nobody will be as happy about it as they think. Oh and 2 big raid guilds locking everything down of course.

For something different, why not try PvP teams? At least its different.

If you add instancing ala agnarr a lot of that goes by the wayside.

A hybrid of p99 and agnarr is probably the real answer to life.
