Now that I actually read the first part of the logs, did OP edit out an "Auto attack off"? Because it shows two "auto attack on" in a few seconds. OP should probably hire a rule lawyer to authenticate the logs.

Find your Eqclient.ini file, search "LOG=FALSE" change it to "LOG=TRUE'. Download GamParse. If you're planning to farm ~300k at HG's you're going to be miserable and probably piss a lot of people off, farm literally anything else or join a guild that helps with epics/chance of Torpor (not sure if Anon already does this)

Too much plat in their pockets. Send over a squad of rogues so that no one ever feels they can camp HG for money.

As for being a newb, yes I am one. I think I've played EQ for about 3 months total, and just came back from a 3-4 month hiatus a week or so ago. So on to this guy - I am camping HG, he logs on. Proceeds to stand next to me and say something snarky. First HG, I clearly get first hit, he proceeds to attack it and then uses HARM TOUCH to steal the kill. That kinda pissed me off, but whatever.

Next HG, this guy stands next to me again, we both hit the HG at same time - I have no idea who got first hit in the parser, but I think it was my dog. Either way, pretty much same time hit. I burn it down with sham dd nuke i just memmed and then we go at it. So that's it.

Guy threatens to post a video online, proceeds to do so. Guess there are some flames. Look, I try to be civil at HG, and most people I haven't had a problem with. It's not like I'm KSing left and right. As for plat efficiency, I've been able to get 600p/hr when contested, probably if not contested could ramp that up to 750p/hr. It's not bad plat. It's better than CE on average, though worse than king on average. I did all the numbers, HG isn't top tier plat but its solid. Furthermore, its nice to do if you don't have a lot of time or are back and forth a lot (baby). I'm also trying to save up for a torpor, because being a poor shammy means I'm not op. So wait, what? Basically you're saying that you only gain a 25% bonus to your platinum rate when the hill is contested vs all yours?... You are either the god of FTE which I doubt since you said you didn't know to use a fast casting spell. Very doubtful...

Hey man, yeah being ridiculously high level and killing faster means potential for more kills, but still..

I find it highly unlikely the shaman was able achieve proper FTE on 75% of all spawns while contested on that hill. Claiming that when uncontested he only receives a 25% increase in revenue. I'm considering that he admitted to using a 6 sec spell to engage, or just by sending in a pet.. that's all i'm saying.. there must have been plenty of "we engaged at the same time moments" with this method of pulling... who knows though... I wouldn't imagine he's only been up against people experiencing here. Most players know it's a terrible place to EXP if they are serious about EXP.

Contested really depends - if there is another 60 there then yea pp/hr might drop to 400 or something and be bad. But if there are just a few lvl 40s, they take 1 HG and then run off the mountain so they don't die to aggro, so I still get 70-80% of HG instead of a perfectly even split. Unfortunately there aren't more HG spawns. However, I do kill broog whenever he is up, so you could say I'm doing a bit of a service in that way.

I would say that the shaman's estimate of getting FTE on 70%+ of the HGs is correct. Besides everything else, i was actually kinda impressed with thier ability to lock the hill down so hard.

I want to take a moment to speak on this post. Would like to start with, Fail is a app to our guild. I have since spoke to him about this situation and how we handle things vs how it was handled.

With that said, this whole situation was due to the OP baiting for this exact thing to happen. The logs do not show the whole picture and the fact that petitions did not happen will explain that. I 100% am not saying fail was right but it was an intense situation that was created to make a troll happy.

This will be the last response from anyone in my guild and sorry you all had to be a part of this drama.
