rather than pop up in one spot at 8CDT (while im working) how about pop up at random bodies of water through out the day for a limited time like the pool in MM or the lava in unrest

^That just caters to those who can track. If we're chucking out opinions on another persons contest, then why not make the fish have to be fresh - as in - you cant have them in a bag for over a day, as most here seem to be saying they already do. If none of this then, just have the tunic appear on my cursor instead of a fish. Game over.

I did give some thought to this. My original vision was to do a scavenger hunt of some of the lesser known, but easy to get items in the game, then give clues once a a day about where I was and log on at the same time every day there, but it's summer and I'd hate to decline invitations because I promised strangers on an elf sim I'd be online. So I opted for something short and sweet.

My other idea, which I might do this winter, was to create some kind of passphrase and /em routine that someone would have to perform for me to win the prize, but the trick of it would be I'd only be playing an unnamed alt. It'd be funny if people started spamming everyone they saw in hopes of getting it. It's an interesting idea, I may fine tune it.

I get to choose so far as I want to see 8 different fish as I stated. But the first trade box that puts them in, gets it. I'm going to be very careful and deliberate about it when I log on to be as fair as possible. If it's you, grats! Everyone is welcome to compete for it. Even Swish.

We argue, but I don't begrudge you Baler. We all like to play this stupid game, and so there is a certain brotherhood in our addiction.

Edit: I'll post a time-stamped screenshot too. Beyond that, I don't know what more I can do to show this is legit.

Honestly if you did it right you could have more of an impact on the server, at least in terms of sheer numbers of players affected, than any single player has in a really long time (if not ever).
