I've never fished in this game. I used to rely on people like greengrocer to supply me with all sorts of rare delicacies. Since his downfall, I have been very depressed in-game.

Well you could always reinvent yourself as Filbus Foodmaster or short FF

Isn't PTSD why we're all here?

Tell me wise master, since mage can equip it in off hand can't I put a normal pole in primary that will break, but keep the off hand bonus to always boost the skill?
Not sure. Can the mage fish when it's in offhand? There's no visibility into whether or not the skill mod is applied so I can't tell you.

Fishing poles are Primary only afaik.

Mister Furryfoot was kind enough to add a Skullshaped Barbute, Charred Guardian Shield and a stack of Peridots to the prize list. Many thanks to him!

UPDATE: I reread my original post, and I think it is understandable, but the wording seemed a little ambiguous to me on this reading, so I want to clarify that when I say 8 Unique, I mean 8 different kinds of the special fish. For example, 8 individual (stacked or otherwise) of Clockwork Kois won't win it for you. I want to see that you fished from 8 different places (though if you get 2 different special fish from the same zone in zones that have more than one, that's acceptable).

IMPORTANT QUESTION!!!

Some special fish cannot be acquired by pole. A very special fish(Rivervale Trout) must be wrassled by hand from the lake in Norrath's best city.

Is this fishie acceptable?
