That issue happened to me when my Internet provider had a broken cable and my speed dropped from 100Mbs to 0.5Mbs. I was unable to play until they fixed the issue and I had above 20Mbs speeds again.

Also large amounts of packet loss or a high ping can cause zoning / login issues
