Default EQ not working now - crashed when log'n off last night

I logged off last night and the game crashed on exit - didnt think much of it as it happens from time to time

now i get the instruction memory cannot be read error

I tried reinstalling - changing the resolution settings in the client ini - its set on compatibility for xp

im at a loss

Same files work on other machines (just not my gamer) - no hardware or driver updates post last night - also tried Wineq2 and no go

What if you make a copy of your eqclient.ini file to another location then remove the one in your EQ directory? This should force EQ to create a new one, does that still crash? Worst case you put your copied .ini file back in the EQ directory.

I figured out the problem - another game I play was still running in the process tree even though I had shut it down - doh me 8P
