Just out of curiosity, what would be the potential downside to turning on a shared bank? I know it isn't classic but so are some other things on the server that were done for the health of the server. Is there any legitimate potentially negative outcome to making this a feature? It seems like a win/win that doesn't hurt anybody or change any even slightly important aspect of the game. The only people who don't benefit from this change are scammers.

Basically everything on Project 1999 is classic, unless it has some compelling reason not to be because things are different than they were in 1999. Internet connections are different, the devs have technical limitations, and the raid scene (in terms of the players, not in-game) is entirely different. In other words no, just because the devs have made a few non-classic changes that they basically had no choice but to make, it does not mean that everyone's pet "I wish P99 had this" request is reasonable or going to happen.
