On end game content it simply doesn't matter. High AC will lower the average damage you take, but it's not about that. It's about the worst case. Who cares that AoW hits for less than a max on the flurry 9/10 times when a cheal is landing literally every second? If you don't have the hp to survive that 1/10 times, you die, and the raid wipes. A warrior could tank the aow naked as long as defensive was up and the chain was solid.

Ogres are the winner. Ogres are much larger, girthier in nature and we all know that girth is much more important than any other deciding factor when we judging nakedness.

Playing stoooopid races are fun cause you can always roleplay dumb to fit any occasion. Occasionally breaking tension in bad situations or just creating fun.. and the slam stun is nice until all races get that ability in their 50+ levels.

I made a Troll because I hate Ogre Plate in Classic and Velious

You can raid and group on p1999 succesfully with any warrior race. Although i would advise against xp penalties unless you hate your real life. Have fun!

Bit of an exaggeration when people say Iksar can't wear plate.

Velious changed that whole situation rather nicely, actually.

They don't have access to all the Velious stuff, but they can wear all the good Velious stuff

Clearly the master race is the biggest race when it comes to being a warrior. All the inferior races will have you to believe they do it just as good. They don't.

P.S. We all been in that group where some scrawny, tiny warrior becomes the tank of the group. We all cringe and worry about their tankiness. They leave, and are replaced by a towering, massive OGRE WAR, and instant relief washes over the group. Everyone knows that ogres are superior, no one wants to admit it.

These are hidden stats that do not show up on your character stat page.

• Ogres have higher AC than listed
  
• Ogres hit harder and more often than would be suggested by their stat page
  
• Ogres have innate survival abilities that kick in letting them live on longer when they should have long died in a tough battle

PRO TIP: Ogres have all these hidden values that are not noted by the devs or the stat sheet. To make them appear more balanced, the devs only mention the OGRE FSI as their racial, but many other racial advantages exist for the OGRE.
