I'm trying to see if I should get from 158 to 164 on my alt Druid then work on the 7th Shawl:

it's not worth it. the tailoring grind is way harder than refarming drops for the 208 combine. brute force go!

me: I might do some smithing soon. banded sounds easy.

hahaha well i was going to just raise it to 162 and deal with the fails on the 6th shawl but i followed your yolo advice and tried it at 158. It worked on 2nd attempt.

Now I have to figure out if I want to do 7th Shawl... I need to farm everything. Get brewing up 110 points to 168 - annoying not terrible, get fletching up to 168 - annoying not too bad, get JC to 162 -- annoying and costly, get pottery up 20 points to 162 -- super annoying, and get tailoring up 4 points to 162 -- super annoying.

Prob worth but I'm lazy right now and this is my 2nd shawl and it's for an alt so I'll work on it slowly but it might take a year or two haha.

7th is great. i meant to say grinding tailoring to 208 wasn't worth it.

if a classhole wanders by, could they comment on http://www.eqtraders.com/calculators...r=130000000000 regarding p1999 combines? from here it looks like 88% chance to succeed shawl #7 at 158

Finished fletching, brewing, then JC, and got all the mats ready for combines. Was too nervous at 158 so I got tailoring up to 164! Then I failed a intermediate trivial combine and had to re-do some steps. Next day finished it on the second try!!!!

I was super pumped to see how overpowered my druid would now be with Flowing Thought I. Finally, armed with POTG, Mask of the Hunter, CII, and Flowing Thought I.... I could meditate from 0 to full mana in 7 minutes and 42 seconds instead of 7 minutes and 54 seconds. Truly game changing. Also lost about half a level of buffer experience I had on my druid dying around the world, got some other minor upgrades Wenglawks Manly Purse x 2, Ice Burrower Skin x 2, and some buffer experience on my bard and rogue.

Next arbitrary goals are Cloak of Confusion for bard, more POM flowers, and daydreaming about working on a magician alt to mess around on.
