Best race for a bard?

Humans can wear robes which is pretty neat and opens some more gear options up. I think half elf Velious custom helm looks the worst of the 3, but they sort of have best starting stats. However, werewolf lute will give best return on stats as an illusion in Velious for bards, so who cares?

I think it's cool that bards are only class that can worship Veeshan, so I chose that.

As long as were on the subject, because when am I ever going to get a chance to ask this question again, there are just two robes, correct? Guardian Robe and Robe of Azure Sky?
