I just don't get it. These items were all removed for a reason. Some are incredibly powerful. Others are novelty and are rare. Instead of there being single digits of some of these items, there are now half a dozen or more noobs running around with them. These items no longer have the value or novelty they once had. Having these items is no longer a symbol of how long you've been here or how much time you put in trying to better yourself. It's a joke now. People who missed out on the items originally on live didn't have a chance to go back and get them. I don't see why they should be handed the items here. Obviously this is not my server and I'll still respect what the GM's do , but this just doesn't seem right at all.

/rant off

Thanks for all the work on Kunark. I may not agree with the serverwide randoms but I appreciate all the work you guys do to allow us to play here. Its your sandbox and you can do what you'd like.
Sorry you feel like it's a joke now.. but, there are +2 Scimitars of the Mistwalker. Two.. more, and one went to a druid.

The rest of the items were not in the single digits..

The drops from tonight were a small fraction of what existed on the server.

Cut and Pasted from Server chat:

Really poor planning by the GMs. Appreciate your effort but left a sour taste in some of our mouths (kinky).

Would have been nice if for once you guys had testing things out correctly so it would be a continuous drop rate for a number of hours, but it's too late now. Maybe you can learn from this mistake unlike the other event.

/cheers

Appreciate the effort you guys put into kunark and I am sure everyone will enjoy it. For now I bid you adieu.

P.S. QQ

P.S. stupid to launch kunark and instead of people experiencing it, they're masterminding plans to exploit the system by buffing levels ones to mowe through shit and get rares.

Agree with almost everyone in this thread concerning that part

There was absolutely nothing about the event that people are complaining about that they couldn't have prepared for beforehand. As far as there being too many rare drops from the event, I can tell you that the percentage of the population with those rare items is probably still lower than when those items were first taken out.

Thanks devs, I know me and my group had lots of fun.
