Probably like the old faction burning stuff back on SZ. Use songs to boost faction with a dragon then make the other dragon fight you, your dragon pal will defend you from the dragon you just pissed off. I saw people use the nexus scion to kill gorenaire like that back on SZ

Typically the way that works is you charm a mob and have it attack another mob. Ideal case the mob you charmed casts a DoT. Can also be timed up with a pet casting a nuke because they don't auto interrupt on a break here. When charm breaks on the next DoT tick the raid mob would aggro your charmed pet.

Then you get a train of similarly factioned mobs to your old pet and drop them near the raid mob. They will see their brother in combat and assist him.

That's typically how it worked. Dunno the specifics in WW.

On red to keep Scout Charissa away from non-Empire scum, I would just train her to Sontalak, jav him so that he would AoE me when Scout was in AoE range then FD. After I would FD Charissa and the Beast would battle it out.

Is creating a faction war in an empty or mostly empty zone ok? Like training chitari on the paebola in DN, with hopes of clearing rooms out for more exquisite weapons etc? As long as no one gets hurt?

Please post where I said that ? I said quite clearly that Taken/Awakened was the guild that in my time on this server cheated and pushed the rules the most. Every guild has at one point broken a rule. BDA was even suspended before. But only one entity consistently gets caught and admits to things that are actual manipulation of mechancis via either auto-fire or in this case alt+tab. I mean these are things that use 3rd party programs or manipulate the client of the game.

They then turn around and say in response "You guys did this in the past" and point to in game items players used that anyone could farm.

The farmability of an item is irrelevant. Anyone can alt tab as well.

The point was it goes against the spirit of the rules. The shadow step mask for example clearly went against the spirit of the rules because you're exploiting the way the game calculates where to send you when the terrain you are in has a downward slopping Z Axis value (it always sends you to the lowest point).

That's why it was banned. Not because farming shadow men was seen as too tedious.

Close. You gather all the similiarly factioned mobs first, charm a mammoth then send him in on klandicar and kite the other mobs around until the aoe hits them. They engage Klandicar and you charm the mammoth that is last standing to kill him. If you picked the wrong amount of mobs you go get another one and toss them in. Its a long fight so you can judge if you will need another mob or two and have time to send them in.

This doesn't work anymore.

Keep telling yourself that while your guild keeps supporting people that do these things. Facts are Awakened/Taken is the guild with this reputation to manipulate the client to get ahead.

I really don't know why there is this constant addressing of the rules in Skype. There is a Raid Discussion forum. USE IT.

Getting the heads who make decisions in a room in real time is the only way to make things happen. Raid discussion forum is for posting results.
