Choosing a Shaman Race (FashionQuest)

its everquest all the animations suck
you're going to see the sit/stand animation just as much as the running animation too by the way.
choose based on the bear form and custom helm/velious armor graphic you like IMHO. i think barbs get the coolest bear form and look best in velious armor.

if you're not picking based on fashionquest:
barb - JBB, barbarian spiritists hammer and good race is nice for leveling
ogre - fsi + JBB (great for soloing summoners)
troll - regen+ JBB + snare neck
iksar - regen + ac cap bonus

Ogre is probably the min/max choice for most people's over all gameplay. Race only matters at 60 for soloing, it will never make a difference raiding/grouping i promise.

If you don't have a regen BP or you're at gear levels where your fungi becomes a swap-in item (vindi/ss bp) then iksar/troll regen is actually pretty useful.
