You'll want to stay with Bandits until at least 16-17 or so (you can stay even longer though if you don't care about kill EXP), the Sash quest is even better EXP than the Fangs and generates a huge amount of money. I'm still killing those bandits at 21 and each trip to Qeynos nets me 150pp and half a level.

this is basically what I did, but I went there at 11 and found a ranger to team up with and now I can solo if I can't get a group. I found out that the sashes are good exp and some pelt is for a quest too that gave exp. I like this much more then BB.
