remember the good ole days when the only pay to play group was chardok? ever since the AE nerf EVERY single decent camp is now monopolized by pay to play. its seriously out of hand. and they are playing by the play nice policy. so the guides hands are tied. And there are simply to many people doing it for anyone with any real power to get around to it.

so thats what we got, make the best of it.

Serious reply, these are the ones I can think of off the top of my head that are not Jboot or Epic.

Chardok goodies (coming soon)
VP keys
BFGs
Literally Every Velious Faction Armor Quest Ever
Ring War quest (multiple parts)
DOZEKAR?! yes.
SOULFIRES $$$

bunch of random other stuff too, I'm sure. I agree, however that it is a necessary evil, and also a classic one.
Besides the Chardok, until it got changed, I never seen any of these being offered as MQ.

Glowing Hilt mq is often available.

Trak Tooth MQs for your guild VP keys

Ring 7 MQ in tunnel every night 10-12k

HoT mini orbs are usually looted and MQ'd to people who win tears

Vel armor MQs are sold by the thousands every day

What sucking ferver do you play on?

Goes to show how much I pay attention to items being MQ'ed. Only MQ I mainly see in the tunnel are for JBoots.

i think what he's getting at is, MQ's while classic, allows the RMTers to farm and sell the items to him for plat instead of getting a fair shot on it like on live.

during live, RMTers had multiple servers to share. you come to blue and there is an RMTer camping every important spot cock blocking. its not a joke its real lol i tried playing here. im not even joking go to orc 1 in WC and you will find a lvl 60 druid selling invites to the group. and they never leave. so i have to pick, grind on snakes that are anoying and non static spawns or somehow come up with 5k at lvl 8 to pay the guy.

This is like repeated every step of the way on this server its horrible experience. lol. but i do applaud the project creators its as close to classic as its going to get without a huge CS staff.
Orc 1 is in EC you are full of shit and dismissed

Troll if you like what ever ....

I played 16 years ago and played the game, never did i MQ: a dam thing, maybe because back then there was so much more content.. or so much little mini bos's so contested ... i had a different gaming "everguest" experiencing then i am having her now.

i Personally Hate mq's i think it defeats the game. and cusses a lot of problems we are seeing to day with the top guild able to camp these kills with less the numbers one would need... with there gear they have from the upper game and are now unseeing this gear advantage to 5-3 man things others would need full groups to do , as well as well as blocking the lower guilds and lower lvled players from doing there quest and forced to buy the things from them or go some times year before getting a quest done they would love to finish.

i refer to this game now as EverMQuest:

thats what it has come to MQ: i see is an Exploit . should have been fixed on live should be fixed Here.. [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.] on the grounds as a Exploit..

if MQ's where fixed here on Classic i see less BS we are having now with ... and less work load on the GM's just a thought @GM's

but who am i . just an old bastard who like's to play games as intended ... with out the bullshit

but what ever that was my rant i had to get off my chest
Why do all these idiots think it has anything to do with the gear they have? Maybe they are just better at the game and playing smarter than you. Judging by this post, that wouldn't be hard to do.

So, today I finished the reports, printed them out, and handed them to another worker. The other worker gave them to the boss. I did this before hailing the boss. Another worker got credit for my hand in. MQ's don't work all the time. Next time I'm just gonna camp the bosses office better.

It's classic but... Honestly, why do people think this is an exploit? Quests where you're intended to kill dragons and bring back scales, why would the quest NPC care if one Rogue turns in all the quest pieces or the Rogue returns with his Ranger friend and they each hand the quest NPC an item.

The NPC surely knows you aren't soloing these dragons, and you had help to slay them. Why does it matter that the items they requested come from two different individuals, so long as they receive everything they requested. It makes logical sense for MQing to work.
No it doesn't. It makes absolutely no logical sense that both parties need appropriate faction in many cases - if multiquesting was intended, only the receiving party would need to be factioned. It makes absolutely no logical sense that when quest items are given in the wrong order, the wrong person will receive the item regardless of whether they can even use it. It makes absolutely no logical sense that there isn't a single quest in the game featuring dialogue that reflects or even references the possibility of multiple parties turning in items for a single quest.

I would bet my life that you could ask Brad McQuaid if multiquesting was intentional and he would confirm it wasn't. Whether they intentionally left it in the game after they realized their oversight is a completely different question, but I'd still argue the case that they didn't purposefully ignore it.

MQs were fixed. They were added, because they are classic, whether good or not. That is why we have them now ^^
Correct. But so other people don't get confused - and judging by the OP it seems like this is a troubling given - this is only true on P99. Multiquesting was never consciously added to the original game in any way, even during its original conception. It was simply an oversight in development that may or may not have been ignored, and if it was then that may or may not have been intentional.

I love multiquesting. For reasons already elucidated it makes the game better in countless ways - it is a happy, useful mistake.
