No he said weed is a dangerous drug. If he is confirmed to the cabinet you should then expect the states that approved legal weed will most likely have to shut down shops.
i smoke legal weed all day every day (chronic pain) and i agree that we shouldn't completely dismiss the psychological impacts of marijuana on younger smokers & things like that. the "it's safe for everyone" shit is obviously untrue. most people can handle their shit but i've been with people who went to the store tried weed and ended up in the ER having seizures. its not something to fearmonger over and perhaps he doesn't have the best overall outlook but i don't mind having a few skeptics to balance out the crazies saying "there is no negative effects of marijuana reee" sessions has a crazy person old guy outlook on weed, but it'll get balanced out by the equally nutter people on the left. ayy.

the gateway drug thing is bullshit though, i'm sure the phenomenon exists but you can blame the WOD for that not weed itself.

Plus weed should be legal
Well yes I agree, but it's ridiculous to think someone working for an administration that wants to give states individual power (the way it was intended) would use a federal strong arm, assuming he even pulled it off

I'm going to laugh so hard if Hillary gets prosecuted under Trumps administration after he has begun claiming that he doesn't intend to pursue it.

Trump is doing everything in his power to look reasonable on every side, but because that's so apparent at this point, I only suspect more that he will act on all of his original promises. It's nothing but a safeguard to quell the fear and loathing of the left and the political establishment so he can do his job.

A lot of dinosaurs from that generation believe that it's a "gateway drug" and forces people into becoming heroin addicts. I tried to explain why this is untrue to my parents a few years ago. It was like talking to a wall. Their generation was so brainwashed about certain topics, such as weed is terrible and evil, and fluoride is good and beneficial.

Legislation to re illegalize weed in Colorado is already being worked on.

much more restrictions on growing in CA, OR and WA are coming soon

county wide bans on outdoor growing were already tested all over the west coast and in effect many places.

most states are turning down the votes for anything pot related or keeping it just medical legit prescription only with heavy regulation

The dummies in Colorado abused weed and showed the country people cant handle that much and it increased crime 5x. the Chief prosecuter and DA hate what weed has done and are making quite a fuss. CO has been nothing but a hub for black market weed that is flooding the country and being shipped everywhere via fedex and USPS

the tax money it generated does not even pay for the crime it created.

florida just passed medical but it will be heavily regulated thanks to our pals in CO

I am for decriminalization but don't want to see pot shops open to the public, more weed just makes dumb people even more dumb ( and unemployed )

pot also ruins kids ambition to actually succeed in life

Dispensary's don't buy weed from growers, they launch their own commercial grows and get accounts with wholesalers for supply and it shuts down retail purchasing of hydroponic supplies too, and as some one that sells that stuff for a living, large commercial grows are death to my business.

illegalize it
Woke post. we have to make sure people know good people don't smoke marijuana.

That's an incomplete statement the media ran with, he actually specified the option's still on the table but it's not a priority right now or something along those lines.

Aka he's going to do it silently through attorney general appointment and probably go after the clinton foundation. Sessions "mr law and order" att general is no coincidence. Maybe do something to her quietly in a couple years when the drama dies down and noone cares. I was posting about how he was going to do this before he was elected.

i think it's reasonable to say that this batshit insane dramatic reaction from the left and media we've been living in the past few weeks might have turned him away from attacking clinton to appease a small group of his extreme followers because it may divide the nation or cause some kind of backlash when he isn't even POTUS yet.

thinking he will act on all of his promises is a very uh, interesting point of view. if you paid attention especially during the primaries it's kinda obvious that there are a bunch of things he said or ran on as campaign rhetoric to get elected, which he doesn't care about. i would be surprised to see trump treat abortion or gay marriage as anything but a settled issue. among several other things. i'll be happy if he acts on like 30%.
