Sounds like you have some problem with your install.
If I was having your problem, I'd reinstall EQ As well as trying with an EQ install on a different PC. If the install on the other PC doesn't work in kith as well, I would guess there's some problem with your install source (corruption, scratches, CRC problems, etc) and you'll need to acquire a new install source. If the install on a second PC did work, I would assume that there's some kind of specific conflict on PC#1. I'd guess it'd be more likely to be a GPU/driver problem, possibly need to try a different driver revision. I've had to use old outdated drivers for EQ on certain Nvidia cards. On a side note, this might be unrelated, but when was the last time you restarted your PC // defragmented your HDD? I've had the crash loop of doom you describe on PCs that have been on for a few months without being shutdown (once restarted, worked fine), as well as PCs with very high fragmentation. (I once had a PC that shut off instantly when you ejected the CD tray, until it was defragmented, then it stopped that crap)
