Instanced raid zones make EQ not work - the entire server is running around in BiS no drop raid loot - not sure how the economy even exists at this point.

Literally all progression raids in EQ were instanced PoP and beyond. Maybe they make classic EQ "not work" but wgaf... way better than the P99 raiding option.
