Cannot select a character

I am having the same issue. Have never had any problems updating files on p99. Running windows 7
last successful log in about 2 weeks ago.

have both files in main eq folder and global load in the resources folder.

Note: I get this error message after a return to the log in screen. I attempt to log in as normal. It appears to be loading. Instead of character select screen it goes back to log in screen where I re-enter password and receive the error message.
