yea dubious...

body cam's are just about useless... would think they could mount them like predator shoulder gun or something more practical... this clip a cell phone to your shirt pocket doesn't seem to be useful...

on the dash cam one he looks like he is backing up towards them (at least had an oppurtunity to non-lethal him) but that's probably unrealistic...

watch the video at the slowest speed starting around the 15 second mark and check the guys ankle.

yea definately something there, i see holster outline too but im not sure if my mind is creating the shape i am looking for

can see something on dash cam too (also looked like something in his hand there)...

looks to big to be a tether-bracelet...

i realized they do have predator gun mounts from shadows too...

Why/how is this such news...

530 dead in Chicago this year with 2 months to go (that's 1 fucking city)

No one cooperates...no self policing..snitches get stitches etc... But these relatively few (in comparison) cases need special focus / prosecutors / news conferences etc?

Still haven't seen a video where the victim fully cooperates. (Not an excuse for the outcome but shit happens when people don't know what to expect and weapons are potentially involved.

Had a cop pull his gun on me and a bunch of (white) friends as kids because my friend had a hat in his pocket...

Has no one ever seen the show cops, they deal with madness, put your fucking hands on the wheel and make them feel safe.

White people being targeted at rallies / protests, people laughing in the backround while recording... it wasn't even a white cop this time..

It almost seems like #BLM is controlled by people who wanna make blacks look bad.

They saw him with a gun in the car. He didn't exit the vehicle when asked. He only got out after they smashed his window. Even then, it looks like he was backing away to get in position to shoot.

Once shots were fired they rushed towards him and were attempting to mitigate the blood-loss. It didn't help, obviously, but they tried.

Moral of the story, if you have cops asking you to get out of the car, put the gun down, lie on the ground, etc. you need to do that. If not, things will escalate into similar scenarios as this.

I don't care if I'm guilty or innocent, if a cop asks me to do something (within reason) I'm going to do it. It's most likely not worth dying over.

This. I got a little emotional earlier about it with a friend, he reminded me that, hey, compliance isn't optional. If an officer feels threatened enough to have lethal force out, you should probably "break" yourself as they say in the hood and listen and ask what they want you to do next.

Some officers get stuck on the hands up part, and stop issuing commands while they just stare at you with their hands up. You should probably be saying "What do you want me to do now?, What now?" Instead of getting butthurt about it or feeling that you are being targeted. Its lethal fucking force afterall man.

Some of the scientists on this forum make me smile hard. Try following commands and complying instead of treating it like a chore, or taking it personal. Fix your attitude and things like this won't happen.

Its lethal force. Alas, the skulls may be too dense.

I'm from North Carolina. Three hours from Charlotte but still. The past two or three years have made me so ashamed of my state's government and the people living there. They've ruined the movie and film industry (a huge income for the state), damaged tourism, created incredibly controversial tension with sexual orientation and allowing discrimination and even termination in the workplace based on sexual preference (the true purpose of HB2, not the bathroom issue), and now this.

God dammit, NC, I've longed to return to you from Virginia for 17 years and things were going amazing and now this. Why you gotta make it hard to talk good about you anymore?
