Missing words and letters

I don't seem to be getting the full sentence someone types to me sometimes.
Often its missing a lot of words and letters and i tried to increase chat window to no avail.

Can you take a screenshot of it? There's a weird bug that happens sometimes where your text gets cut off, but I don't think anyone's ever bug reported it because it's so rare that it barely causes any problems. That's probably a server-side issue, or it might be something related to playing EQ in windowed mode or something. Your issue could be unrelated to that if it's happening frequently.

If you have any sort of forced anti-aliasing (for example through Nvidia control panel or AMD catalyst) this can cause numerous issues with various types of text displayed in this game.
