Rate the Staff Here (NO BASHING)

Giving Llandris a 1 star. Was 5 star when he joined staff but he slowly warped into Sicucksky over time. Doesn't answer PMs and bans accounts for no reason at all. I can search right now and find 20+ pages of ni**** and fa**** on the forums with no bans. Forums used to be fun and interactive now they are just boring.

Also giving Braknar a 1 star. Posted proof with receipts for RMT and he just said he's ok summer vacation. Here we are about 5 months after the post and the guy still roams free unbanned with his SoD he purchased and accounts/gear.

Sad if true and would definitely change my opinion assuming the proof is real deal.

Nilbog - 5/5, by far the best thing to happen to this server. I haven't spoken to him in years, and even then it was only a couple times when we needed to escalate an issue to his level of decision making, but his IDGAF attitude always kept him extremely fair and objective. Seriously not trying to be a sycophant, but we should all be thankful someone like him is part of the leadership of this project.

Rogean - 4/5, I think Rogean is kind of in the same boat as Nilbog, but the fact that he had to interact with the player base so much more than Nilbog made his job harder. If he could have just maintained the server and ignored the players like Nilbog seemed to do most of the time he'd probably be 5/5. Loses a point because he inevitably got buddy-buddy with some players and that always creates a conflict of interest. Even so, in almost all my dealings with him when I was handling that sort of stuff for DA, I always felt he tried to remain objective and fair in his rulings. Him stepping back and taking a smaller role in GM issues has been a bad thing for the server imo.

Hobby - 4/5, not a lot to say about Hobby, which is a good thing. Occasionally he got shit from both sides accusing him of playing favorites, but seemed pretty objective for the most part. No drama or scandals that I'm aware of (aside from the claim that he was Virtuosos, which I don't know if it is true).

Uthgaard & Cyrius - 3/5, even though both of these guys eventually snapped, both were decent for the majority of their time GMing. Uthgaard loses points because he jumped to conclusions and would often take someone telling their side of the story as some sort of personal attack on his authority, and Cyrius loses points becaue Uu had a big anti-raid guild bias. Uu also loses points because of his ridiculous decision to ban 7 of the 9 DA officers (only Appollo and myself didn't get suspended). That lasted all of a couple hours before big Rogean stepped in and ended Cyrius's power trip.

Not going to comment on any others since current staff apparently can't handle criticism and only want to hear the praise of sycophants. I think punishing people for criticizing GMs has been a negative influence on the server. Sure, we lost a few GMs because they got sick of the criticism, but those people needed to go anyway (mainly Cyrius and Uthgaard). Both were good GMs for awhile, but clearly got burned out and started being unreasonable as a result.

The staff put an amazing amount of free time into the server, whether it's Nilbog's painstaking attention to detail, Rogean fixing server problems at 3AM, Braknar banning RMTers, Haynar breaking pathing, Llandris answering fucktons of petitions, Sirken reimbursing items for me multiple times, or whatever else I don't see.

Yes, I have some complaints. I wish we could get Luclin and POP (or variants of that don't offend Nilbog as much). I wish they would get another dev to fix AC caps, aggro, resists, etc. I wish they would put more energy into the raid scene rather than catering purely to poopsockers. I wish they would ban Skarlorn for being a boring shitposter.

But on the whole, this free project is in many ways more polished than a commercial one. It's pretty amazing, and we should focus on the positives rather than the negatives.

Rogean use to be a really cool dude, I think he's over this project and has moved on to better pastures

Sirken- use to be cool when he supported the red99 community. Although, he is a bro when it comes to Game of thrones
