LOL sharing accounts isn't a big deal on this server, people do it all the time! Just be sure not to delete anything on a shared account though!

The firepot scam -
Sometime between kunark and velious there was the firepot scam. Back in those days, you could drop money on the ground. And not only that, it wouldn't ask you if you were sure you wanted to drop it. It would just drop. Fire was considered a wall of sorts in that if you could find a fire pot big enough, you could sit in it and people couldn't easily click you. Turns out, EC has just the fire pots. Scam was simple. "WTS fungi tunic, 35k. gotta get rid of it quick" and you'd get a tell or two. Work out the deal and tell them to meet you at the fire pot next to the good ol' shady swashbuckler. "In the firepot he says? wow, that's like cool and mysterious and stuff. And what a good price. Wow, this guy is a cool trader!". The stooge walks up, tries to open trade with his 35k, clicks the fire and it drops right on the ground. And while he's trying to figure out what happened, you're already half camped with his money. Made about 250k before everyone in EC was spamming not to trade in the firepots. Haha. My pyscho little brother took it even further and went server to server doing it. Ended up getting patched out pretty quick. classic.

One of my fondest memories was when you had to stick items in the trade window to show stats. I exploited a certain tactic on monks quite regularly... What tactic do you say?
Well first, monks didn't have bags in the beginning. They were real limited, which meant their inventory slots were used up. So I would ask to see their items in trade, and request a full window of eight... 8 out of 10 monks would do this and I would then hit cancel... This would cause their items to drop on the ground and I would pick them up... Man, it was funny. I scored Knuckle dusters, fighting batons, and black panther skin armor. They would cry to the gm's who couldn't do shit and I would log off. Sure this was a scummy thing to do , but coming up on EQ was a dirty business sometimes.

Back on live shortly before velious release, I would pal around with a mage friend in Gfay, casting a DS on Eye of Zomms which would then be sent into the noobie hunting grounds for people to swing at, or dropping mod rods in public places while he medded for more rods.
No regrets.
