My question is what's he going to do with the plat obtained? All of these are pretty high end. Quitting the game? RMTing plat? I guess he can choose pay to win and just pay large amounts for no-drop NToV gear.... either way sounds like he won.

As in why people selling high end stuff. It's usually better to "afk" from the game with plat than items.
