agatha's science hour before the botb was gold, he talked about how his strategy was so solid he couldn't loose then the duckman proceeded to pop 3 opiates and went on his merry way to loose without doing a single point of damage, i personally think he should get a title for that, it's an achievement in it self being able to die without doing one point of damage in pvp when you're a mage after all (DS, Pet auto attacks etc)

Id put wawaka on that list somewhere, very nearly won the botb at 59 with inferior gear and a ping like smedy.

Tune, Beastagor, Lite, Ender, Ragnaros, letsjoe are/were always good.

Some of the old guard worth mentioning are Nerfed, Hughman and Darwoth.
