I'm surprised Faydwer isn't topping it.

Levels 1-5 in Kelethin in 1999 is what got me 100% hooked on eq.
Being my first real MMO experience, interacting with strangers, combined with the structure of the town and the Kelethin music.
Immersion levels were off the charts back then.

Voted Qeynos from my time on live, with a second vote going to Kelethin.

I'll never forget the first time I saw a level 30-something warrior in Crafted gear, or the first time I got a SoW at the Qeynos gates.

Also, the music from both places bring such strong nostalgia and emotion. That shit will live with me for life.

Qeynos gates music is amazing and keeps popping up in my head more than any other EQ music.

Also the QHills cabin the Sayers (sp?) music is unique and memorable.

Third fave music of mine would be the merchant one.

Sayer cabin flute music is the BEST music in eq imho. Rivaled only by boat music for me. Seriously though when I hear either of those two tracks I transform into that 13 year old again and feel mad nostalgia on high.

Real monks are agnostic and come from Qeynos. Freeport monks are vastly inferior. It is known.

Was actually in Qeynos the other day and was surprised it wasn't a ghost town almost 7 years into this server. I wouldn't go as far as to say it was healthy, but there were 5-10 people there and a couple low levels killing out in front of the gates. The fact that even out of the way lower level zones are still seeing use is one of my favorite things about p99.
