Default Best way to get j boots for my monk?

So, I've been exclusively playing my necro for about a year now and I'm finally at a place where I feel comfortable making an alt and not struggling my ass off. I made an alt monk and gave him a little bit of gear but I'm absolutely hating not having j boots. I want to get him them by the time he hits 20ish
My question is this- what is the best way about getting him j boots? I can play late nights on week days and I don't mind doing the camp but I'm worried about once I drop the Ac and log over to my monk to loot, is the drop still considered mine? Or should I mq it on my necro to my monk but how would you even do that? I solo mostly so don't really have any friends or guild mates that could help me so it would be a one man job. Any advice would be really appreciated

I believe your best bet is going to be buying an MQ if you want it that early. I can't see another way to be honest, aside from camping one yourself, selling the MQ, and using that money, so it's sort of like you camped it.

You can hand in ring on your necro, log on monk and hand in gp and rapier and it would work.

Unless someone messes up with Hasten meanwhile.

Maybe ask someone to keep him hailed while you are switching over?

Can confirm, have done this twice.

I made sure it was a freshly popped Hasten and did it asap to minimize the chance of someone fucking it up.

I haven't done any of this, but if you need some help or ports for your necromancer or your monk I can help you out. Send me a message on Beckoning!

It is possible to kill AC with your necro in OoT for example, and mention that you will be relogging on said alt to loot the ring. You usually have enough time to log out and log back in before corpse opens up to anyone.

There are usually other people waiting in line which will take good note of your statement. Anyone else looting the ring would then be considered as a ninja looter, which can be petitioned to GMs.

Did this method quite a few times to get the ring on alt

Or... you can just kill it on your necro and loot it. Then just trade MQ's with another person for their alt.

Sell an MQ on your necro, turn around and buy one back from another seller.

Either way, you're not losing anything and not risking losing a ring by camping over or someone looting and having to go through the petition process to get it back. Good luck.
