![]() Just my 2cp, however have you considered this so called "Elitist" is simply bored of the game? And are simply trying to do something that normally takes a group as a challenge? I know that being on this server for years gets a bit old, so I love to push the envelope as to what I can do by myself or duo. It makes this game more challenging and fun.

I will always invite people LFG..I don't care if it's less efficient XP gain..it's an MMO. I realize the lure of maximizing XP gain is strong but it's an MMO..don't be a dick. That's why many people play this emulator..to get away from MMOs that are just a bunch of people soloing shit next to each other without interacting. I also semi-consistently see lvl 60's (in raiding guilds no less) camping places like HHP for idols or soloing ass/sup in Lguk. Really? A 60 necro in a raiding guild can't find a better place to farm? Maybe let lower level players who have more limited options farm that low level shit so they can make some coin or get items or better yet..level appropriate groups who will actually *gasp* get XP *and* loot? I even had someone tell me he was farming the idols for raid FTE trackers and when I suggested he should just let noobs farm it and buy them he said they used to do that but noobs got too greedy and started charging too much. Doesn't everyone charge more when something is in high demand? If raid guilds use them that much the price will go up so I don't think it's the fault of "noobs"..it's just supply and demand. Considering all the coin floating around on this server from proxy AE groups and the like...shouldn't raid guilds be able to afford it? Maybe that's an incorrect assumption..I don't know but it seems if you are a raid guild and can't afford to buy idols you might have bigger problems than noobs charging a few extra plat for items that other guilds are gladly (and quickly) paying for. [You must be logged in to view images. I would say overall my experiences have been pretty positive on this server so the asshats seem like the exception not the rule. Sorry for the novel. TLDR version: Don't be a dick. Group up. This is a classic MMO..not BDO.

![]() Lol, idol camp is literally one mob next to a zone line. That isn't monopolizing anything. So your logic is that high level players shouldn't farm items they are going to use, but should instead buy them at exorbitant prices from low level characters? You do realize to buy idols they'd just need to farm else where, right?
No one cared about idols until raiders started using them en mass, and there is absolutely no reason why a high level character should be any less entitled to farming that mob than anyone else. The only reason the mob drops anything of value in the first place is because raiders use idols. Lowbies are welcome to price gouge if they want, but arguing they should have some exclusivity to the camp and that higher level players should pay them for idols is some backwards ass thinking. | ||

![]() If someone is twinked out with bis droppables, has buffs, pocket "gf" druid helping PL, why should they be obligated to carry your noob ass? If they're doing all the pulling, tanking, healing, 95% of the DPS, why should that person feel obligated to invite others to take 50%+ of the exp? Maybe you should git gud so they'll actually want to invite you.
