I think it is more important to defend democracy rather than to defend secularism at all costs. I say that as an atheist. But its a hard call because of some of the BS the Muslim president of Turkey has pulled.

Egypt taught me you can't let secular dictators sweet talk you like their not "a real dictatorship"
