Why the devs won't release a fresh box now that all the coding and timeline are correct is beyond me.

Like you did all the hard work now just hit the reset button and watch it flourish.

Wipe isn't necessary just make a new box on classic timeline and merge them a year into velious.

I would pay server costs for a year for that without hesitation.

The issue with things like trak teeth are simple. I have 2k hp self buffed on my druid. A sk can ht for 1.1k.....so to instant kill a decent geared druid would require a trak tooth and a ht. (This would include wiz,necros,chanters etc).

If you can recharge golem wands everyone will have them and use them with impunity.

What they really need to do is remove yt so that blasted board with disappear and people wont be afraid 2 pvp.

I would want YT and PvP to disappear if I was you too.

Nerfing insta-click items like golem wand and trak tooth was one of the few good things they did to this server.

Cry that it was classic all you'd like. The items themselves may be classic, that's true. However, it's been 16 years since this game opened and the community itself is no longer "classic" because none of this content is new and unknown. Nobody on live ran around abusing those items, and I guarantee that if they did start to be abused on live, they'd have gotten nerfed down the road just the same as any other unfair advantage in PVP did, such as fear.

They did a good thing imo. It was in the spirit of classic EQ pvp. If you can't see that, I don't know what to tell you.
