Why would you pay that much for cable?
This is a bit complicated, but everyone should understand it on a first read-through.

Basically, within a 45 day Window I'd be invoiced for up to 1.1k dollars.

I paid a balance of 585 May 10th (some past due on the account I thought) so I ignored it.

I was again invoiced 585 June 25th for two months, (deadline by June 29th under threat of late fees and reactivation fees) for the month of May and June.

So, despite the bill being lower than you think, it was actually a far far worse situation. I was still being invoiced up to 1,100 dollars within a fucking 45 day window...I was pretty fucking furious and appalled at how their billing cycle was causing me to be hit for 1,100 in a 45 day window. The rep agreed this was pretty insane.

I knew I had lost my discounts and promotional contracts, but the way their billing cycle works they were making my 290 dollar bill somehow hit for 1.1k in a 45 day window (which I confirmed was the case).

for 290 dollars I had your premium channels, cable HD, internet, phone (Theres a discount for internet if you buy a phoneline lol but its cheaper if you cancel it, another satanic marketing ploy exposed upon further investigation)

I spent 61 minutes canceling 90% of my "services" (there was nothing special). And I am still paying 161 dollars for internet and only 25 cable channels. My internet is 76 of those dollars.

The landline had to get the chop as well, at 24.99 a month without any use at all lol. Provider is Cox Communications.

p.s. when my friend told me about 10 years ago how he had this big blowout with Comcast, I laughed and scoffed at it. My attitude was like what the fuck could possibly cause a blowout. Well now I know. 1,100 in a 45 day window, RECURRING.

Could this overcharging be related to the classified info you've uncovered re: L3 severing? Cable monopolies run tiered systems (deliberate service interruptions to extort more expensive plan signups, lies about not receiving returned hardware so they can charge for gear they got back etc) already, not far fetched to suppose you could be in flagged as a dissenter and targeted for gaslighting to distract from your investigation. That telephone hold time can be weaponized so why wouldn't it?

Watch your back man. "They punish the people that's askin questions"
