I drove across 11 countries. Some times it can be a bait and switch life, but once you got your responsibilities nailed doing RL stuff is fun.
I hear you.

I click this thread with high hopes.

OP's original thread back in the day was so great.

Can i recommend you start working on internet trolling as your next out of game accomplishment?
I just can't seem to care about this illusory existence. When the real world is so lackluster the internet becomes almost repulsive.

Summary: OP starts long term projects, has a couple of hobbies, and does household chores he can't afford to pay other people to do.

Suggest he get an Instagram account and bore his friends and family with the mundane details of his exceptionally ordinary life. No one here cares.
I don't need Zuckerberg's weasel like face peering into my personal life. No one here may care but that doesn't mean we should give in to entertaining Mark Zuckerberg's weird fetishes.

Thats great. I'm running a few different businesses these days. The typical online stuff, development and content farms, but I've also expanded to manufacturing. Believe it or not I make pond and fountain liners right here in America. It turns out there is a niche for high end liners used in parks, hotels, and rich people's homes and the available products were not withstanding usage at scale. This required excessive maintenance costs which my product eliminates for these companies. Right now I'm working on something involving college texts but its very hush hush.

Now when it comes to retaining walls I'm definitely not an expert. I do this kind of work to stay healthy because I got sick from too much sedentary work. These walls are under four foot by code. To make a good retaining wall you're going to want access to a quarry or landscaping yard that has at least 2 man rocks but of course the bigger they are the better they look usually. Slope back the earth about 45 degrees while creating the wall. You'll want to stack your rocks up and then backfill with a good draining gravel like pea gravel. If you live in an area with high rainfall you might want to run a perforated drainage pipe along the bottom of the wall to help distribute the water. Of course you should check your local code regarding excavation and rockeries as it varies and there are typically going to be other requirements and local conditions worth considering. In my case the wall I built came out beautiful and its a great addition to my privacy parcel.

Fishing is something I've done since I was a child but I hadn't had the time for it in many years. Now its becoming a major source of food and I'm lucky to live somewhere with plentiful hunting and fishing. You can fish on land or boat but typically fishing is land is better because you can get drunk without the police harassing you about drunk driving. Grab yourself some alcohol and head out right at dawn or dusk. You may want to bring a rod and reel, hooks, weights, and bait or lures in addition to the usual affair like a good pocket knife. Of course casting is more of an artform so we'll leave it at that. Now I'm thinking about doing some crabbing, they even sell those cage trap things at the local grocery store, who knows about that?
I need my retaining wall replaced this year some time. Half is 4 feet and half is ~6 feet. I'm dreading it.

Here are some of the things I've been up to since Forsaken/Aftermath kicked me out for calling them out on member forums as a bait and switch guild.

Created several paintings.

Read several books.

Planted apple trees and evergreens.

Started making a cartoon.

Created raised juniper beds and planted a garden just in time for spring.

Climbed a couple mountains.

Dug a well.

Got a tan.

Found a few interesting restaurants.

Started restoring an old truck.

Got my motorcycle license.

Started running.

Went to private concerts.

Bicycled on the beach.

Started hunting.

I can truly say I'm happier than I've been in a long time.

Thank you Forsaken/Aftermath.
So you have put a lot of time into the sims 4?

So basically, leaving Forsaken/Aftermath reduced you to a life of manual labor?

Quintuple posts motivated by spite on an emulated 16 year old video game forum... yup, you've clearly moved on.

I think HBB is the only other person I've ever seen quintuple post, but he's a wild card so we all let it slide. Never quintuple post bro.
