If he's not raising money for his war chest then the RNC may not even give him the nomination due to the embarassment it could cause the party since it's a presidential election. I'm not convinced that Mitt Romney won't be the nominee again. Have had a weird hunch since his anti Trump speech. The RNC may just finally cut out that far right wing of their party that they sold themselves to with Tom Delay's and Reagan's fund raising plans.

Do you want money in or out of politics? Lefties are always crying about big spenders with shadow money buying the elections until it is their corporate owned candidate (clinton) that is taking in millions from shadowy figures. Then it is like oh look, the GoP can't raise any money! Hypocritical in every sense of the word.
