Illegals have inflated the housing market in San Diego for decades. They pack 3-4 heads in a room and can afford to pay 2500 bucks for a mediocre 3 bedroom with all the free givemedats they get from Obama's cronies. Combine the illegals with the housing market crash and all those homeowners who lost their property are now competing in the housing rental market making prices skyrocket.

San Diego is a mix between LA and TJ and nothing more then a tourist trap.

My cousin wanted to move out here and asked me for apartment advice. Told him to avoid anywhere that has section 8 housing and anywhere that has subsidized living. Otherwise, he would be in mini mexico.
