On their own timeline, they placed it after Velious. I do not understand whats up with them, but I do know it was post-Kunark lol.
It will be implemented when the time comes. (Couple of months after Kunark release)
I think their documentation from the era was spotty at best. IIRC they even managed to lose all of the source prior to Velious or so. They must have been using VSS. [You must be logged in to view images. Log in or Register.] My guess is they're relying on human memory which is always suspect (I know I don't trust mine).

The Allakhazam patch notes are a great historical archive but if you want something even more definitive here is a Wayback Machine link to Graffe the day after the Hole was released.

"The files are quite large (about 9MB total), so if the download is going slowly, you may want to postpone downloading the files until later."

I remember playing EQ on 56K. Hilarious.

The second dev from the right is the guy that had the invincible WoW character on SouthPark. I'm sure of it.

Epics didn't come out until mid-September 2000.

All of this time line stuff has been covered to death. I think I've copied and pasted the dates at least 50 times on these forums over the past 16 months. The info is definitely easy to find.
